Montenegro Bike Trip
At the shore of Adriatic Sea, there is Montenegro, a small Balkan country whose flora and fauna preservation has led to the foundation of Lovcen National Parc. In June 2017, we stopped our bikes there, going on a track whose total length was of 105 km, with a level difference of 2800 m. A truly spectacular road on which we covered the longest constant ascent, i.e. 30 km. The ascent was steep and progressive, from an altitude of 180 m to 1581 m, the portions being considered of the 4th degree and 14-15% tilt. All took place above Bay of Kotor, one of the five most beautiful fiords in the world, known as having the shape of a butterfly with four stretched wings.
